prerequisite for a marriage. Traditional marriage
proposals generally start with the horoscope matching and
proceeded only if they are considered matching. Although
this is not something scientifically explained as to how
things happens as per star locations, it is all about belief
and faith in Astrology. Horoscope of a person will depend on
the birthday, birth time and the birth place. Horoscope
reading & matching involves mathematical calculations. First
step of the horoscope matching in marriage proposals is
Porondam matching where the horoscopes of the two partners
are matched against set guidelines. There are several sets
of Porondam. Basic is to match eight Porondam and then ten &
twenty Porondam. If the majority of the porondam are
matching. Then the couple is said to be matching. However
some Porondam are considered to be crucial and the matching
